Our mission

The purpose of the Clasen Lab is to conduct rigorous research that expands our understanding of who we are and how we function. Toward this end, we study the relationship between humans and the microbes that colonize the intestinal tract. Our aim to improve human health through research is entwined with our mission to train the next generation of scientists.
